Introduction to Learning Tennis
WLTC offers a complete coaching programme for juniors and adults in a fun, relaxed and safe environment. Lessons for any level of play and any aspect of the game can be arranged with the Club Professional Staff at reasonable rates. A variety of Summer camps are available for students as young as 6 years old and up.
Why WLTC?
The WLTC has been designated by Tennis Canada as an Outdoor Tennis Development Centre. This designation was awarded to the club in 2010.
Thanks to the club's commitment to offering Progressive Tennis to both juniors and adults, Tennis Canada has aided the club with keeping the most up to date curriculum and equipment. Furthermore, the WLTC was awarded a grant from Tennis Canada to paint 3/4 court lines on to its teaching courts. The WLTC was one of the first clubs in the country to receive this support.
The WLTC courts are international regulation size as determined by the International Tennis Federation (ITF). Thanks to this, the WLTC hosted the 1999 Pan-Am Games Tennis Event and has hosted the Canadian Mid-West ITF Junior Tennis Championships since 2010.
